Subject: probate
October 09, 2009 - How do you select the right probate attorney to assist you?
Wendy,
In selecting the best probate attorney, I think this has to be determined by who do you "understand" the best. Depending on the probate situation, it can be complex or simple, but basically we all do the same thing. So the real question is how well do you understand what the attorney is telling you about the process and where you stand.
I feel confident that I keep my clients well informed and that they know what to expect along the way.
If you would like to meet with me for a no obligation concultation to have the process explained to you in an effort to make a determination as to whether you would like to use my services, please call me at the numbers listed below. I look forward to seeing you.

Mr. Rick Fedrizzi, President , CEO and Founding Father, USGBC is
trying to be aloof after defrauding me $400.00 and causing me
tremendous loss and damages.
I have been made to write in a horrible environment for LEEDS AP
Examination after paying $400.00, a huge money for simply writing a 2
hours paper.
They have caused loss and damage for my 3 months investment in study
and losing the alternate opportunity to earn money.
They have done ‘racial discrimination’.
They have done injustice and not showing me the examination paper.

Dear RPLAHIRI,
I am not sure what this is in regards to or what question you are asking me. I do not kn ow what LEEDS AP Examination is. I do not know what USGBC is either.
In general, if someone was offering to teach or give exam experience as their business, and their business location was inhospitable, I would render a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and perhaps OSHA regarding conditions there.
This is not an area of law that I practice in, so I cannot be of any further help, but usually a letter to the party and cc'd to the proper authority such as BBB or OSHA, will usually rectify such matters.

Subject: Revocable Living Trust
September 09, 2009 - Ask the Expert:
I had a Living Trust prepared in 2004 while living in Tucson, AZ. Does CA Law differ in any way necessitating a new trust. There are a few minor changes to distribution percentages that I want to make. Can my current trust be amended? I may also want to make changes to some other related documents done as part of my estate plan, such as burial requests. Thanks and I look forward to your reply.

Herb,
Without examining the AZ trust; Generally a trust is written with language allowing for the client to move to other jurisdictions without necessitating the need for a re-write. The trusts I write include a specific provision stating such, and allowing for the trust to automatically modify to any specific other jurisdiction language which maybe in conflict of the local (in my case California) language.
Assuming that the trust remains revocable, then modifications maybe made at the Settlor's (you) choice.
With regard to changes to other documents as part of the estate plan, it would depend on the age of the documents and what was to be changed whether or not it would be best to create updated versions of those documents.
If you would like to set an appointment for a review of the documents and discuss what changes you wish, or need to be made, please contact our office at the numbers below.
